Any special printing, cropping, handling or mailing instructions should be included with the order. Other photographic services may be available subject to additional fees. All fees represent current cost and are subject to change. All sales are final. Some material may not be available for copying due to restrictions. All responsibility for questions of copyright that may arise in copying and in the use of copies must be assumed by the user. A signed MSHP “Letter of Agreement” will be required for all publication use.

Important Note on Oversize Negatives: Many of the historic images are produced from original large format negatives (generally 5x7 or 8x10). Reductions or enlargements of these require special handling and additional cost. It is recommended that actual size contact prints of these images be ordered when possible (which would be the same as the prices listed above). Please inquire before ordering.

Normal delivery time for all services is 4 weeks.

IMAGE USE FEES

Mackinac State Historic Parks charges use fees in order to support the maintenance of the collections. Reproduction use in any medium requires written permission from Mackinac State Historic Parks. A publication use fee is charged for publication or other commercial use of each image. Fees listed are for one time use only unless otherwise noted. These fees are separate from, and in addition to, photographic copying charges. Fees for using multiple images may be negotiable. All responsibility for questions of copyright that may arise in the copying and use of the materials are assumed by the user. Processing of a photographic order will proceed upon receipt of the signed original copy of a “Letter of Agreement” and advance payment of all use fees and production charges. The Mackinac State Historic Parks credit line must appear with the image(s). A copy of any publications using the image(s) shall be donated to the Mackinac State Historic Parks library collection.
